Pallets are loaded into the depalletizing system. Layers are picked from the pallets and placed on a conveyor. Each SKU is assigned to one or more vertical towers (assignment can be adjusted to meet demands). Cases are transported by the Vertique system and loaded automatically to the assigned towers.
Vertique system’s proprietary VPS picking and loading software provides data which is used to direct the automatic dispensing of product from the Vertique towers in both automated and semi-automated operations. This assures that each product is dispensed as needed to meet each order’s specific requirements.
Through VPS and Vertique PLC software, orders are sorted based on specific customer requirements and delivery routes.
Product travels by powered conveyor to the assigned palletizing lane. Then, it’s either placed on a pallet using robotic palletizing and/or stacked by an operator.
Palletized product is automatically stretch wrapped and labeled according to your specific requirements.
Pallets and/or carts are “built” by delivery schedule ensuring greater accuracy and more efficient loading and delivery.
