SUCCESSFUL FINAL TEST FOR THE SYSTEM INSTALLED FOR FRATELLI MARTINI

The automated warehouse dedicated to the intensive storage of finished products for Fratelli Martini has been successfully tested

The automated warehouse dedicated to the intensive storage of finished products for Fratelli Martini, producer and bottler of its own-brand wines, has been successfully tested. The work was devised by System Logistics in compliance with the environmental restrictions in the area where the building is located in Cossano Belbo (Cuneo), adapting it to the available space next to the recently extended production plant, and to the despatch area.

System Logistics, in the role of general contractor, provided the automation, WMS Systore software, shelving, cladding, and fire sprinkler system. The SVL system links the areas making up the logistics complex, including the picking area, equipped with three triple bays. The double-triple depth self-supporting warehouse with cross braces is equipped with five stacker cranes with telescopic forks and double and triple depth staggered shelves to give an overall capacity of 11,400 loading units, handled on Euro and Chep 800mm x 1200mm and 1000mm x 1200 mm pallets with a maximum load capacity of 1,300 kg. In the automated handling system there are 9 SVLs and one "goods to man" bay in the picking area.

With Fratelli Martini, System Logistics have once again proved itself to be the beverage industry's global partner for the development of intralogistics automation solutions.
